Apart from these regular subjects, students are also trained to operate Total Station and work with soft wares involving Computer Aided Drafting, Structural Analysis and Design, Estimation, Project Planning and Implementation and GIS. The Laboratories in the Department are well equipped to enable practical learning with better understanding and to ensure the optimal consolidation of their knowledge.
Since 1984, we have maintained a consistent academic track record of being placed amongst the first five colleges in the state. The department has played a vital role in moulding the students to excel in their carrier. The alumini of the institution have been employed in various Government Departments and other firms in Private sector. The entire diploma course is designed in a manner that it would groom the students to become efficient field supervisors who would strive to maintain the highest standards in civil construction. The faculty members are recruited by the State Public Service Commission and are competent to deliver a positive learning experience with their excellent academic credentials and industry expertise. The technical staffs are also proficient in their respective fields.
