The Internet and Common Computing Facility (CCF) is a centrally organized resource designed to provide advanced computing and high-speed internet services to students, faculty, and administrative staff. The facility is equipped with a high-speed BSNL broadband internet connection through Optical Fiber Cable (OFC), provided under the Continuing Education Cell scheme, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted internet access across the campus. The Central Computing Facility boasts one of the most advanced computing infrastructures in the region, with modern computer systems and updated software resources. Internet connectivity is extended to all departments, the library, faculty rooms, and administrative offices, enabling seamless academic, research, and administrative activities. The CCF is dedicated to creating and maintaining a professional computing environment that supports quality learning and institutional efficiency. Students are encouraged to utilize the facility extensively for academic purposes, practical learning, and to develop skills in modern computer applications and software technologies. To support academic presentations and interactive learning, the facility is equipped with a Smart TV and sound system. The Internet and Computing Facility is accessible to students from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring adequate availability for learning and training activities. Overall, the Internet and Common Computing Facility plays a crucial role in enhancing digital literacy, academic performance, and technological competence within the campus.

The department offers a three year diploma course that consists of core civil engineering subjects such a Structural Design and Engineering, Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction materials & Engineering and Building Planning and Drawing.
Apart from these regular subjects, students are also trained to operate Total Station and work with soft wares involving Computer Aided Drafting, Structural Analysis and Design, Estimation, Project Planning and Implementation and GIS. The Laboratories in the Department are well equipped to enable practical learning with better understanding and to ensure the optimal consolidation of their knowledge.
Since 1984, we have maintained a consistent academic track record of being placed amongst the first five colleges in the state. The department has played a vital role in moulding the students to excel in their carrier. The alumini of the institution have been employed in various Government Departments and other firms in Private sector. The entire diploma course is designed in a manner that it would groom the students to become efficient field supervisors who would strive to maintain the highest standards in civil construction. The faculty members are recruited by the State Public Service Commission and are competent to deliver a positive learning experience with their excellent academic credentials and industry expertise. The technical staffs are also proficient in their respective fields. The Department also offers consultancy service to various stakeholders including Government Departments and Private firm and have been able to generate a revenue of about Rs. 5 lakhs within past two years.
