This laboratory has different types of Electrical Machines like DC Series, Shunt and Compound machines, Single phase and Three phase Induction motors, Single phase transformers, Alternators and Synchronous Motors. The motors are provided with necessary loading arrangements to make them suitable for conducting various experiments. Measuring instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters and tachometers are also available. Students are guided by expert laboratory staff while performing experiments.
The Electrical Workshop is well equipped to conduct experiments on the wiring of different types of electrical circuits, helping students gain practical hands-on experience.
The College has a training and placement cell which looks after the career guidance and placement of students. Mr. Harikrishnan B. S., Lecturer, is the Placement Co-ordinator of the Department.
Career guidance programmes are conducted for our students to enable them to make right decisions for their better future.
Seminars by experts are regularly conducted to provide technical knowledge to students outside of the syllabus.
Our students actively participate in the sports competitions and often secure the first position.
Our Department supports the students in the mandatory Industrial Training/Visits to be performed as per the curriculum.

Our students participated and won prize in the Makathon 2022 conducted on behalf of EMC, Trivandrum.

The alumini of the institution have been employed in various Government Departments and other firms in Private sector.
